Today I just had my first job interview at a start up VoIP company. As usual, I came unprepared ;) Only performed moderately well. The interviewer was a nice guy, but he was quizzing me on concepts from my early uni years that laid dormant. See, I just had five final (and horrendous) exams the last six days, so my mind was kind fuzzed up. Quite a bad impression. I should have at least revised some networking concepts before I came. Looks like I was too audacious to just rely on instinct.
Reminds me of the time I had an interview for deputy head prefect at my A level college. Went in without preparation, and screwed it up. Good thing I still retained my prefectship!
Though my exams are over, I've still got one final battle to face. The FYP submission. I've got just two weeks to finish the whole project, and I know the effort is going to be more tougher than the CANSAT days.
One good news is, I'll be flying off to Thailand for the short raya Haji break to meet my parents. Will obviously stock up on some games (though I haven't even touched Street Fighter IV yet), such as the sublime looking Dragon Age Origins!

I think (or hope) once I start working, I'm going to reorganize this blog a little. What was meant to be sort of a technology blog turned out to be just a bunch of ramblings. Now that I've managed to also keep up with sports, I could talk about that too (go Arsenal!). I rather aim to write posts that would actually benefit the readers of various types.
Many of my friends are applying for masters instead. I might venture to that avenue too. I do pray I get this VoIP job, cause its coincidentally located very near to the university I plan on doing my part time masters too.
Whats your take on part time masters? Maybe I should settle down on the job first before burdening myself even more.
