*yawns*

Finally, my night shift week is over for now. I'll be off for the weekend and back to work on morning shifts for next week. Its weird to reach the office at the dark of the night, then be blinded by the morning light as you leave and drive (or try driving sanely) in brightness.

I've come to realise I was a little naive when it came to income. Before starting work, I meticulously budgeted based on my meager salary. I thought I could manage it, with the car loan, fuel, toll, food, insurance, tax, phone etc. What I should have planned for were some unexpected expenses. Even after allocating some savings and a "buffer" amount for emergency spending, I still exceeded my budget and had to owe debts. I don't know how much more of a miser I can be, even after giving up things like entertainment. Maybe spend even less on food and be on diet! I should raise up a point to my HR after a few months to subside some of my costs =P One thing for sure, every penny counts. Especially if I want to save up to do postgraduate studies next year.
